Hi! My name is Erin.  I live in Yakima, population of about 100,000 located in central Washington, roughly two hours east of Seattle.  Yakima, known for its hops, apples, and wines is considered high desert, having four distinct & beautiful seasons.

One of my biggest passions in life is baking.  I owe this in large part to my parents and both grandmothers.  Baking connects me to family, takes me away from the worries of the day, and grounds me.  When I’m in my kitchen I often hear my Grandmother Lillian as though she were right beside me.  Over the course of forty years I spent countless hours in her kitchen; during this time I learned a lot about baking but even more about myself and my family.
